We start this adventure at the River House in Index, our beautifully restored adventure facility. Here you’ll view our safety video and receive your river gear; a wetsuit, booties, helmet, and pfd (changing rooms provided). Next, we’ll shuttle you up to our private campground where you’ll be treated to an informative and fun “paddle talk” from your guide prior to launching the rafts.
Our launch spot, at the confluence of Trout Creek and the North Fork of the Skykomish River, is a tributary known for its plentiful minerals and mining significance.
This limited season adventure is available during spring water levels, and is typically open from April to mid-June. Please note that at peak water levels we enforce an increased age limit of 16+. We have alternate Class III river sections available during summer months – please call for current river levels and availability if you do not see any dates available on our calendar to the right.
