Cancellation & Refund Policy
Making a reservation ensures your space for your chosen adventure, location, date and time. Making a deposit and/or paying for your trip in full is our commitment from you that you will be participating in a scheduled adventure with us, and we hold that space(s) for you. If you fail to show up for your scheduled trip or cancel very close to the trip date, it is nearly impossible for us to schedule another group/participant in your place.
Please be aware that there are no refunds for no shows. Planning adequate travel time is key! If you arrive late, your adventure may have already begun, and though we do our best to get you on the trip… in some cases the boat will leave without you!
If a business or personal emergency occurs or you need to make adjustments to your reservation, you have the following options:
- Make a Substitution
- Transfer to a Different Adventure Date
- Cancel Your Reservation
If you are unable to attend a trip which you have paid for in full or made a deposit, you may substitute another person(s) into your reserved space(s) without penalty. Please notify us of the change via email and provide your friend with your reservation information, if possible.
You may transfer your deposit/payments to another available course/trip date during the same season without any fees if you notify us 14+ days prior to your trip date.
For transfer requests received 7-14 days prior to your trip date, a $25 transfer fee will apply.
Transfers made within 7 days of your scheduled trip will be considered a cancellation (see cancellation fees, below) as our goal is not to have to cancel on other guests at the last minute due to low numbers.
If you cancel your reservation before our 14-day deadline, we will refund your entire payment minus a single $25 cancellation fee (for group reservations and businesses, or trips and classes valued at over $299, please refer to the cancellation information shown below).
There are NO REFUNDS within 14 days of the trip date (but substitutions are allowed).
If your trip is cancelled by Outdoor Adventures/Adventure Rafting Company for safety reasons (water level, weather forecast, unsafe conditions, etc), your trip will be moved to a more appropriate day, time, or location. No refunds will be given if these conditions arise.
If your trip is cancelled by Outdoor Adventures/Adventure Rafting Company due to low enrollment we will carry your deposit/payments forward to another adventure date with no penalties.
Cancellation Fees for Groups, Corporate and Invoiced Adventures
Trips, rentals, classes, events, or any activity for which you receive an invoice or that that has an individual or combined value over $299 will be assessed the following fees*:
$25 cancellation fee and for cancellations received…
- 30+ days prior to the first day of your trip or class: 25% of the Trip Cost
- 14-29 days prior to the first day of your trip or class: 50% of the Trip Cost
- 0-14 days prior to the first day of your trip or class: 100% of the Trip Cost
*The cancellation policy shown on your trip/event contract may be different than the one shown on this page and supersedes this fee schedule. Please refer to your contract for actual cancellation fees and dates.
