Work on the Bush House began early in 2012. We’re making improvements from top to bottom, and working with local historians to ensure the this amazing building retains its historic look and feel.
Renovation phases include;
•Updates to the building’s foundation, roof and windows.
•Redesigning the grounds to more closely resemble the original layout of outbuildings.
•Improvements to the banquet room to provide improved functionality for events including local gatherings and celebrations, corporate groups, and weddings.
•Improvements to allow greater accessibility for restaurant and event guests.
•Remodel of the restaurant kitchen and bar.
•Restoration of unique historic features such as flooring, mouldings, and fixtures.
•Interior updates including formation of a library complete with books and historical displays, and period furnishings and décor.
•Exterior adjustments that will return the building to a more historically accurate look. These include siding, colors, signage, and window placement.
