The Outdoor Adventures family is an experienced group of guides, instructors, support staff, and interns. We are adventurers at heart, with the skills and experiences necessary to take you on the best, safest and most memorable adventures. In addition to our work in the outdoor industry, many of us are also nurses, teachers, police officers, firefighters, contractors, students, and parents.

Employment Requirements

All of our trip leaders and lead guides have certifications, trainings and experiences that meet or exceed the following;

• ACA Instructor Certification or completion of a rigorous Guide Training Program
• Teaching Experience in an Outdoor Setting
• Wilderness 1st Aid & CPR Certifications
• Safety & Rescue Training
• Excellent Interpersonal & Communication Skills
• Safe Driving Record
• Over 18 Years Old
• Experience Planning and Leading Trips
• Demonstrated Maturity and Leadership Qualities
• Appreciation for the Outdoors
• Committment to Providing the Highest Quality Experience for our Guests
