From the East
Head west on Highway 2 past the town of Baring. Go a couple more miles - you will soon see a coffee stand on your left. Just after the coffee stand, you will go under a train overpass, then immediately turn right at the Index Cafe onto Index-Galena Rd. Go less than a mile - the road will curve right and go under a railroad bridge. You can now see the town of Index across the river. Take your first left onto the Index bridge. The River House is the first (red) building on the left as you enter town. Watch for our Wave Trek Rafting signs. Parking is available on the street in front of the River House.
From the West
Head east on Highway 2 through the town of Goldbar. You will go over two bridges that cross the Skykomish River. After the 2nd bridge make a left at the Index Cafe; you are now on Index-Galena Rd. In less than a mile the road will curve right and go under a railroad bridge. You can now see the town of Index across the river. Take your first left onto the Index bridge. The River House is the first (red) building on the left as you enter town. Watch for our Wave Trek Rafting signs. Parking is available on the street in front of the River House.
