The Value of ACA Certification
Nationally Recognized: As a nationally recognized non-profit organization, the American Canoe Association has a history of promoting paddlesports as a lifetime recreational activity. Since 1880 the ACA and its 50,000+ members have supported and developed resources for paddlesport education and instruction and is considered to be the nation's largest and most active nonprofit paddlesports organization. ACA certifications are becoming the standard for guides, trip leaders, city program staff, and recreation programs throughout the nation.
