Kayaking is one of best ways to enjoy the Northwest. In a kayak you can explore coastlines, fish kelp beds, observe wildlife, surf waves, and get an easy workout at the same time. The Northwest's emerald green ocean is filled with life that can only be seen and fully enjoyed from a sea kayak. 

Sea Kayak Instruction is our specialty! At Outdoor Adventures you are taught by local certified experts who love to sea kayak! Our team of paddling instructors have been trained up and down the West Coast and all over the Northwest in it's best and worst conditions! Kayak instruction is not just our job, kayaking is our passion.

Outdoor Adventures has multiple bases for our sea kayak instruction: Redmond, Washington; Lopez Island, WA; Bowman Bay, WA; & Seattle, WA. Whatever your paddling experience, we do our best to take you to the next level of kayaking. For beginning paddlers we offer QuickStart Your Kayak, Intro to Paddlestrokes, and Introduction to Kayaking. For intermediate kayakers we offer Essentials of Kayak Touring, Coastal Kayak Basic Strokes and Rescues, Kayak Rolling, and Basic Kayak Navigation. For advanced kayakers we offer Coastal Kayak Strokes and Maneuvers Refinement, Coastal Kayak Open Water Skills, Coastal Kayak Surf Zone, Coastal Kayak Tidal Currents, Coastal Kayak Rough Water Maneuvering and Towing, and Coastal Kayak Advanced Surf Zone.
